NDT Aircraft Inspection Aerosol Penetrants

Met-L-Chek® D-70 is a non-aqueous developer used in inspection Methods A, B, C, & D. Used with fluorescent penetrants as form “d” and with visible penetrants as form “e”, D-70 is available in aerosol and liquid forms. It is applied after the surface penetrant has been removed and the inspection surface dried.

Met-L-Chek® E-59 is a class 2 (non-halogenated), Method C inspection penetrant remover. Ideal for penetrant wipe removal, E-59 is a slow dry rate material used in general metalworking, welding, nuclear and automotive applications. Met-L-Chek® E-59 is NOT used as a pre-inspection surface cleaner.

Met-L-Chek® E-59A is a class 2 (non-halogenated), Method C inspection penetrant remover. Ideal for penetrant wipe removal and pre-inspection surface cleaning, E-59A is a moderate dry rate material used in general metalworking, welding, nuclear, aerospace and automotive applications.

Met-L-Chek® FP-923 is approved to AMS-2644 as a fluorescent (Type 1); Methods “A” and “C”; sensitivity Level 3 water washable inspection penetrant. FP-923 is approved for high sensitivity aerospace applications.

Met-L-Chek® FP-95A(M) is approved to AMS-2644 as a fluorescent (Type 1); Methods “B”, “C”, and “D”; sensitivity Level 3 post emulsifiable inspection penetrant. FP-95A(M) meets requirements for high sensitivity aerospace applications.

Met-L-Chek® 1400B is a premixed, ready-to-use, fluorescent magnetic particle bath designed for high sensitivity fluorescent wet method inspection. 1400B meets the requirements of AMS 3045 and ASTM E-1444.

Met-L-Chek® R-503 is a class 2 (non-halogenated), Method C inspection penetrant remover. Ideal for penetrant wipe removal and pre-inspection surface cleaning, R-503 is a moderate dry rate material used in general metalworking, welding, nuclear, aerospace applications. Met-L-Chek® R-503 is ideal for penetrant test panel storage and cleaning star burst cracks on TAM panels.

Met-L-Chek® R-504 is a class 2 (non-halogenated), Method C inspection penetrant remover. Ideal for penetrant wipe removal and verification of indications, R-504 is a flash dry rate material used in general metalworking, welding, nuclear, aerospace applications. Met-L-Chek® R-504 is ideal for penetrant test panel storage and cleaning star burst cracks on TAM panels.

Met-L-Chek® VP-30 is a visible (Type 2), water washable (Method A) and solvent removable (Method C) inspection penetrant. It is designed for use in general metalworking, welding, nuclear and automotive applications for surface flaw and through leak detection.

Met-L-Chek® VP-31A is a visible (Type 2), post emulsifiable (Method B) and solvent removable (Method C) inspection penetrant. It is designed for use in general metalworking, welding, nuclear and automotive applications for surface flaw and through leak detection.
