Overview
Cee-Bee® A-643 FF is a chrome-free, fluoride-free light duty deoxidizer that will deoxidize and desmut aluminum and aluminum alloys prior to anodizing, conversion coatings, dye penetrant inspection, and resistance welding.

Overview
Cee-Bee® A-643 FF is a chrome-free, fluoride-free light duty deoxidizer that will deoxidize and desmut aluminum and aluminum alloys prior to anodizing, conversion coatings, dye penetrant inspection, and resistance welding.

- 2024-T3 Bare treated with Boric Sulfuric Acid Anodizing (BSAA), Chromic Acid Anodizing (CAA) and Sulfuric Acid Anodizing (SAA).
End Grain Pitting (EGP) & Intergranular Attack (IGA)
- Alloys 2024-T3, 6061-T4 and 7075-T6.
- Tested at the upper concentration limits for 30-minute immersion times at Ambient and 125ºF (52ºC).
- Conforms to EGP of <0.001” and IGA of <0.0002”.
Elevated Copper Evaluations
- Solution with 1,367 ppm Copper, 656 ppm Aluminum.
- ASTM B 117-19 Salt Spray Testing.
- 2024-T3 Bare chemically treated with a MILDTL-81706, Type I, Class 1A, Method C conversion coating.
- Tested to 336 hours with no pits or other indications of corrosion.
Paint Adhesion
- ASTM D3359 and FED-STD-141 Method 6301.3 Paint Adhesion.
- 2024-T3 Bare chemically treated with a MIL-DTL-81706, Type I, Class 1A, Method C conversion coating.
- 2024-T3 Bare treated with Boric Sulfuric Acid Anodizing (BSAA), Chromic Acid Anodizing (CAA) and Sulfuric Acid Anodizing (SAA) evaluations both sealed and unsealed.
